This soup ladle, crafted in the Henneberg Brothers’ workshops in Warsaw at the end of the 19th century, is a testament to the refined tableware craftsmanship of the era. Made of brass plated with silver, it displays a silvery tone with warm undertones visible where the plating has gently worn. The form is simple and harmonious: a long, gently curved handle finishes in a rounded, spatula-shaped tip, while the transition between the handle and the deep, hemispherical bowl is seamless, with no visible joints. The handle bears a finely engraved 'Z.D.' monogram, and the maker’s mark is stamped on the reverse. The surface is mostly glossy, with a subtle satin effect on the handle due to age and use. The deep, smooth bowl is designed for practical serving of soups or broths. The ladle measures 30.5 cm in length. Condition is good: there are localized abrasions and light patina, particularly inside the bowl and along the edges, but no significant dents or structural damage.
