ABOUT PRODUCTID 4785
The Empire soup tureen, produced by the Ćmielów porcelain factory in the 1930s, exemplifies pre-war Polish design authored by B. Wysocki and J. Steckiewicz. Crafted from fine ivory-white porcelain with a glossy glaze, its form harmoniously combines neoclassical inspiration—a wide, rounded body set on a slender, elevated foot, with sweeping scroll handles and a domed lid topped by a stylized finial reminiscent of ancient amphorae. Hand-painted pastel floral motifs in shades of orange, yellow, pink, purple, and green are scattered freely across the body and lid, while 24-carat gold gilding highlights the handles
