The VEB Variant model 501-00322 is a stationary telephone produced in East Germany in 1982, exemplifying late-industrial design from the era. The casing is crafted from durable injection-molded plastic; the rotary dial features metallic silver detailing beneath a clear plastic cover, with prominent black finger holes and white numbering for legibility.
