This antique Salvator Mundi statue, dating from the 18th century, is hand-carved from solid wood – most likely oak or ash – and retains its original, untouched structure. The surface displays remnants of original polychrome in subdued reds and greens, particularly on the robe and base, with areas of wear revealing raw wood and a naturally developed patina. Characteristic late Baroque drapery flows in voluminous folds, while the figure's proportions are elongated, featuring a slightly oversized head and hands and a serene, symmetrical facial expression. One hand is missing, and there are minor losses and wear to the base, yet the statue remains visually unified and structurally solid, with no signs of modern restoration.
