This set of four Italian stem glasses from the 1970s combines clear, colorless glass bowls with vivid, lime-green, glossy bases and stems. The modernist silhouette is defined by smooth, flowing lines and a sculptural detail: the stem consists of two rounded, stacked elements. The proportions are harmonious, with a broad, stable foot transitioning into a gently flared cup. Each glass is crafted entirely from glass with a polished, seamless surface, reflecting careful workmanship. The set displays only minor signs of wear typical for its age, such as small surface scratches, but is free from chips or cracks. Preserved in good original condition. These glasses bring to life the playful energy of 1970s Italian design, where color contrasts and simple forms captured a sense of optimism and experimentation. The transparent glass and vivid green foot interact like air and color in conversation, creating a sense of lightness at the table. The sculptural stem echoes the creative boldness of the era—a time when even an everyday object could make a statement about imagination and style. They can be paired with simple white porcelain to highlight the saturated green base, or combined with geometrically shaped tableware for a mid-century modern effect. These glasses will fit seamlessly into a collector’s eclectic living room or a minimalist dining space, where the interplay of light on glass can become a subtle tabletop accent. The set of four creates a cohesive visual element on a sideboard or open shelf, enhancing the character of the interior. The listed price refers to a set of four glasses.
