The 'Tom' coffee service is a unique mid-century set comprising a sugar bowl with lid and a creamer, both crafted from fine, high-gloss glazed porcelain. Designed in 1958 by J. Steckiewicz for the Wałbrzych Porcelain Factory, the collection exemplifies the sculptural and dynamic asymmetry characteristic of Polish modernism during the post-war thaw. The deep, saturated red envelops most of the surface, contrasted by a hand-painted pattern of irregular white polka dots—an iconic 'fly agaric' motif by decorator Ludmiła Pokorna.
