This Art Deco sugar bowl, produced around 1930 in the Warsaw workshop of Icek Erlich, bears the 'Handmade' mark and signature on its base. Crafted from so-called 'new silver'—a silver-plated metal alloy—it features a striking spherical body, visually divided by a subtle horizontal seam. The domed lid, topped with a ball-shaped finial, includes a notch for a sugar spoon (an original period piece is included), while the two side handles are rendered as symmetrical, stylized spirals typical of European Art Deco ornament. The bowl rests on four evenly spaced spherical feet, which emphasize its architectural silhouette and ensure stability.
