ABOUT PRODUCTID 5785
This six-arm table candelabrum, produced by Sandrik in the 1920s, exemplifies the geometric and modernist design language of the Art Deco era. Crafted from silver-plated brass, it features a cool, mirrored finish that accentuates both the industrial materiality and the meticulous craftsmanship. Each tubular arm radiates symmetrically from the central stem, forming a harmonious, architectural composition. Simple round candle holders, a solid flat base, and a vertical rod crowned with a polished sphere all adhere to the disciplined principles of Art Deco. An engraved date (1910–1935) on the base authenticates its period origin. The candelabrum is preserved in excellent condition, with no visible signs of wear, damage, or restoration; all elements remain original and well-maintained. This form echoes the voice of 1920s modernism: the candelabrum seems to narrate a world where symmetry, metallic sheen, and function were embraced by the bold spirit of a new era. Its reflective surface captures the light like the façade of early modernist architecture, while the geometric arrangement of the arms suggests the rhythm of a city and a fascination with order. The sculptural sphere at the top highlights the object's artistic quality, evoking the ambiance of salons where applied arts were held in high regard. The candelabrum can be paired with a veneered table from the same period or a minimalist dark wood sideboard—equally at home in classic collector's interiors or in contemporary spaces with an eclectic touch. It would work well alongside era-appropriate objects: pressed
