This table clock, produced in Germany in the 1970s, is distinguished by its brutalist form, combining hand-crafted copper alloy and applied brass metalwork. The sculptural body evokes the shape of a stylised leaf or flame, enhanced by a deeply textured, rugged surface and organic, irregular lines. The dominant deep brown tone is enriched with warm copper hues and golden highlights, while the matte finish lends a subtle metallic sheen that accentuates its artisanal character. The central clock face, in a warm brass or copper tone, contrasts with the sculptural casing. Distinctive features include ornate, filigree gold hands and minimalist hour markers formed by raised brass studs, arranged radially. Numerals are absent, replaced by a pattern of incised lines.
