This Space Age table clock, produced by Prim in the Czech Republic during the 1950s, embodies the post-war wave of design inspired by the atomic age and the fascination with cosmic exploration. The case is crafted from glossy black Bakelite, a material closely identified with mid-20th-century innovation and modernity. Its asymmetrical, sweeping base supports a sculptural pentagonal dial with gently rounded edges.
