This 1970s table lamp, attributed to the German manufacturer AKA Leuchten, stands as a refined example of Mid-Century Modern design with a distinctive touch of European glamour. The structure features a large, spherical shade made of opaline white glass with a glossy, reflective surface, mounted on a brass neck and collar in a warm gold tone, polished to a high shine. The base is composed of clear, cylindrical lead crystal, intricately cut with geometric and floral patterns that beautifully refract light. The lamp is anchored by a solid, round brass base. Measuring 33 cm in height and 15 cm in width, its proportions are harmonious, while the interplay of materials and textures highlights its decorative function. The lamp is fitted with a white power cord and inline switch, and accommodates an E14 bulb.
