This original German table or desk lamp from the 1930s features a metal construction in aged brass and deep matte brown, serving as a quintessential example of Art Deco design. The round, weighted base (16 cm in diameter) supports a slender vertical stem with a smoothly arched arm—both displaying subtle patination and local signs of age-related oxidation. The shade is crafted from layered opaline glass and draws the gaze with its stepped, three-tiered geometric profile, echoing the era's architectural rhythm. The satin-frosted, milk-white glass contrasts with the lamp’s dark body, while construction details—including discreet joints and a brown textile cord—clearly reference authentic period solutions. The lamp retains its original hardware and proportions, with a height of 61 cm and width of 38 cm providing usability as either a desk or side table lamp. Its condition is described as very good: only minor marks of use and a natural patina on the metal are visible
