ABOUT PRODUCTID 1864
This Art Nouveau table lamp from 1900–1920 exemplifies Polish craftsmanship at a time when nature served as a primary source of inspiration for applied arts. The glass base, with its matte, satin-like finish in a warm beige tone, is adorned with hand-painted botanical motifs. Delicate daisies and fine leaves are arranged in vertical, gently undulating bands that alternate with smooth glass segments. The green-tinted foot and a trim of small white dots emphasize the meticulous detailing and quality of execution. The lamp is topped with a new velvet lampshade in a deep navy blue, featuring a soft, plush texture and a subtly conical shape. The overall design is rooted in Art Nouveau, with its flowing lines and understated ornamentation inspired by nature. The lamp is preserved in very good condition, showing no visible damage or signs of wear. This piece carries the spirit of the turn of the century, a period when Polish Art Nouveau sought harmony between craftsmanship and the natural world. The matte glass softly diffuses light, while the hand-painted flowers evoke memories of morning meadows and gardens. The form tells the story of an era when every detail mattered and everyday objects were elevated to the status of small works of art. The
