This Art Nouveau table lamp from the 1920s exemplifies early Polish design inspired by the sinuous, organic forms of the era. Crafted entirely from creamy white, high-gloss glazed porcelain, the lamp presents a sculptural silhouette: the base and shade merge seamlessly into a unified, flowing whole. The shade evokes a blooming flower or shell with its scalloped edges and pronounced curves, while delicate gilded lines and ornate botanical motifs accentuate the lamp’s decorative character. The base is adorned with relief patterns reminiscent of petals, reinforcing the Art Nouveau influence. Functional details include a brass socket with a ceramic collar suitable for E27 bulbs, a discreet black switch set into the base, and the presence of the original textile-covered power cord, which underscores the authenticity of the piece.
