ABOUT PRODUCTID 1600
This Norwegian table lamp from the 1980s features a distinct geometric base composed of alternating segments of pressed glass: clear, frosted-gloss rings contrast with intensely green, smoothly polished cones. The arrangement of these elements creates a rhythmic vertical pattern, characteristic of late modernist and postmodern Scandinavian design. The lamp is topped with a new lampshade made of deep black velour fabric, with a matte, soft texture and a classic conical silhouette. Equipped with a white electrical cord and inline switch, as well as an updated, fully functional wiring system compatible with E27 bulbs, the lamp offers balanced proportions: 49 cm in height with the shade, 25 cm in shade diameter, and a base measuring 12.5 cm across. The piece is in very good condition, showing no signs of damage or restoration. This lamp reflects the voice of 1980s Scandinavia: bold form meets the cool rhythm of glass, while the interplay of green and clear elements evokes an illusion of luminous architecture. It seems to narrate an era fascinated by geometry
