This table lamp, designed by Adam Sadulski in the 1970s for Zakłady Ceramiczne in Mirostowice Dolne, exemplifies Polish mid-century modern design. The base is crafted from glazed ceramic in a deep, warm brown tone and decorated with a striking raised pattern of cream and beige circles. Its tripod form, supported by rounded feet, gives the lamp both stability and a sculptural presence, while the glossy ceramic surface is even and lustrous. The lamp is topped with a new, conical white textile lampshade, which contrasts with the richly textured base. The proportions are balanced, with the wide shade complementing the solid, flared base. The lamp uses an E27 bulb socket and is sold without a bulb. It is preserved in excellent condition, with no visible damage or signs of wear. This lamp echoes the spirit of 1970s Polish design: ceramics that embrace decorative detail, with a rhythmic circular motif evoking the era’s fascination with texture and light-play.
