This Scandinavian table lamp, designed by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors in the 1960s, is a quintessential example of mid-century modern design. The base is crafted from thick, heavy crystal glass in a deep, dark green hue, transitioning to clear crystal at the bottom edge. Brass accents at the top introduce a subtle material and color contrast. The lamp features an elongated, geometric silhouette with gently rounded sides, resting on a flat, transparent crystal base. It is topped with a large, slightly tapered, off-white fabric lampshade with a matte texture. The lamp is signed 'Orrefors RD 1323' on the brass detail and at the base. The discreetly integrated power cord and balanced proportions are characteristic of 1960s Scandinavian craftsmanship. The condition is very good, with only minor surface scratches and a tiny, barely visible chip at the base, without signs of significant damage or restoration.
