The FUTURA I table lamp, designed and handcrafted by Krzysztof Wyżyński for NO BEIGE FEELINGS, is a unique piece created as a single edition. Its construction combines 3D-printed PLA elements with carefully selected, high-quality vintage glass. The lamp’s composition is based on a dynamic interplay of geometric forms: a matte orange upper shade, a glossy red cylinder, a white textured column, a milky white glass sphere, and a transparent blue glass dish. The black square base features a mirrored surface, multiplying light and emphasizing the contrast between materials. Precise connections are marked by black collars, while the mix of glossy, matte, and textured surfaces creates a multilayered visual effect. The design utilizes PLA, an eco-friendly biopolymer, alongside individually sourced glass elements.The striking silhouette of FUTURA I evokes the experimental spirit of the Space Age and Memphis Group aesthetics. The lamp communicates graphic energy and playful sensuality through color, while its symmetry and order bring a sense of structure. The juxtaposition of cylindrical, spherical, and conical forms blurs the line between sculptural object and functional lighting.
