This bedside lamp by KOLARZ, produced in Germany in the 1970s, embodies a blend of Hollywood Regency style with classicist undertones. The base is crafted from metal in a warm, antique brass finish, complemented by a yellow-gold decorative collar beneath the shade. The cylindrical pressed glass lampshade features a regular diamond-cut pattern that scatters light and lends tactile depth to the lamp. The shade’s cylindrical form aligns harmoniously with the round, subtly convex base (10 cm in diameter), maintaining the balanced proportions characteristic of the period. Construction is robust, with clearly visible assembly details and a discreet white cord emerging from the side—evidence of quality German workmanship. The lamp is fitted for an E14 bulb up to 40W.
