ABOUT PRODUCTID 34493
This table lamp from the 1970s combines clear, thick lucite and golden brass, creating a striking geometric base. At its center is a frosted glass horse head sculpture, finely detailed and matte in finish, offering a sculptural counterpoint to the reflective metal and transparent acrylic. The composition is completed by the original conical lampshade in a warm beige tone, featuring subtle vertical striations and dark brown trim at the top and bottom. With proportions of 75 cm in height and a 46 cm base diameter, the lamp functions as both lighting and a sculptural interior accent. Its palette of brass, lucite (acrylic), glass, and synthetic fabric evokes the late mid-century modern style typical of 1970s French decorative arts. The lamp is in very good vintage condition, showing only minor patina on the brass and gentle signs of use on the shade, with no damage to the glass or lucite. The lamp speaks with the voice of an era that delighted in blending luxury with a hint of theatricality. The cool gleam of brass and the clarity of acrylic frame the sculptural horse head, as if bridging the worlds of decorative art and nostalgic 1970s
