The WMF Ikora table lamp from the 1920s–1930s exemplifies early German design in the spirit of Art Deco. Its construction features a metal body in a warm, muted gold, accentuated by darker, almost black details on the edges of the base and the lower part of the stem, creating a smooth gradient. The lamp’s surface combines a semi-matte finish with a subtle satin sheen. The wide, conical shade is made of metal with a brushed texture in a matching gold tone, topped with a decorative finial. The slender stem is adorned with three horizontal black rings, while a gently curved chrome arm connects the base to the shade. The composition rests on a round, stable base. The proportions are harmonious, and geometric accents reinforce its decorative appeal. The lamp requires an E27 bulb, and the electrical wiring has been replaced. The condition is good – minor signs of patina and age are visible, characteristic of an authentic, collectible piece.
