This WMF Ikora table lamp, designed by Karl Weidman in the early 1930s, features a rounded glass base distinguished by a rich color gradient: vibrant reds and oranges at the top blend gradually into amber and warm brown tones. The glass body, emblematic of the Ikora technique, displays marbled, metallic brown and turquoise veining, with entrapped air bubbles adding sculptural depth. The upper fitting is crafted from polished chrome-plated brass, its reflective surface providing a striking metallic accent typical of Art Deco design. A flat base ensures stability, and the WMF signature is visible along the edge to confirm authenticity.
