This French Limoges table lamp, crafted in the 1980s, exemplifies refined decorative artistry and meticulous craftsmanship characteristic of its origin. The lamp features a classic, baluster-shaped body in cool, pale blue glazed porcelain, adorned with hand-painted floral motifs in warm hues of ochre, gold, red, brown, and green. The intricate brushwork and delicate color gradation create a harmonious, nuanced surface. The porcelain base rests atop a robust, dark brown wooden, beveled octagonal plinth, introducing a touch of traditional craftsmanship and providing structural stability. The composition is completed with a softly flared, pale pink satin lampshade, appropriately vintage yet later added, with subtle vertical panel texture and a decorative trim.
