This table lamp, produced by Osvětlovací Sklo Valasské Meziříčí in Czechoslovakia during the 1970s, exemplifies Central European Mid-Century Modern design. Its construction is based on a seamless combination of a cylindrical body, hemispherical dome, and rounded base, all crafted from opaline, cool white glass with a consistent, matte finish. The surface softly diffuses light, creating a calm and gentle glow. There are no visible fittings or decorative details, emphasizing the minimalist approach of the era, while the proportions—46 cm in height and 24 cm in width—highlight the lamp’s well-balanced silhouette.
