This Finnish table lamp from 1928–1932 exemplifies early modernist functionalism, where material and form take center stage. The ceramic body features a warm, earthy terracotta tone, highlighted by a marbled effect—irregular swirls of white, gray, and subtle brown shades create an organic, almost landscape-like appearance. The semi-gloss surface enhances the depth and visual texture of the ceramic. Its conical, gently tapering base is characteristic of late 1920s and early 1930s design: simple yet striking, faithful to its era. The lampshade is a later addition, crafted from natural beige material with visible hand-stitched dark thread along the edges
