This table lamp by Val St Lambert, crafted in Belgium during the 1960s, exemplifies the artistic glasswork of its era. The hand-formed base features a smooth color gradient, transitioning from clear at the top to a deep green at the bottom—an ombré effect characteristic of mid-century modern experimentation. The base is triangular in plan with softly rounded corners and distinct, almost crystalline feet, emphasizing its sculptural, organic presence. The highly polished, glossy glass surface contrasts with the understated matte white conical fabric shade, creating a harmonious interplay of textures.
