This table lamp by Val St Lambert, produced in Belgium during the 1960s, features a hand-shaped glass base with a dynamic spiral twist, crafted from colored glass. The color transitions smoothly from deep ruby red through amethyst shades into clear glass, with subtle turquoise accents at the base. The spiral pattern infuses the form with a sense of lightness and movement, while the polished, smooth surfaces highlight the high level of craftsmanship from the mid-century era. The base is crowned with a simple, cone-shaped white textile lampshade with a matte finish, offering a restrained contrast to the vibrant, glossy base.
