This Murano glass bedside lamp from the 1950s embodies Italian craftsmanship at the intersection of tradition and the decorative flair of the mid-century modern era. Its construction comprises two domed elements in milky white, semi-translucent glass with a twisted, diamond-like texture reminiscent of quilting. Each glass section is finished with a hand-applied, wavy pink glass trim, providing a subtle decorative accent in soft pastel tones. The lamp stands on a wide, stable base, while slender gold-toned metal fittings – including a small finial and support arms – lend lightness and a refined character.
