This table lamp, crafted in the 1960s at the Student Cooperative Żaczek in Krakow, is a refined example of Polish mid-century modern design, embodying the spirit of the 'New Look.' The base, made of medium-toned walnut with a soft satin finish, features a bulbous, geometric silhouette punctuated by evenly spaced circular metal inlays. Three slender, angled wooden legs, each capped with brass-toned ends, add both decorative interest and stability. The new lampshade, crafted from ecru-colored textile, has a smooth, matte texture and a classic conical form that complements the organic curves of the base. The color palette is warm and neutral, dominated by the natural wood grain and the soft off-white of the shade. The lamp remains in very good condition, with no visible damage, scratches, or significant signs of use.
