ABOUT PRODUCTID 23519
This table lamp, designed by Wiesława Gołajewska in 1963 and produced by Pruszków, exemplifies Polish mid-century modernism. The base, crafted from porcelain, features a pronounced, textured surface inspired by organic motifs—resembling branching structures or coral—finished in a cool, light grey matte glaze with a subtle, slightly rough texture. The use of a flowing glaze technique creates a dynamic, tactile pattern with gentle gradations of shade and texture. The lamp stands on four splayed legs, lending it both stability and visual lightness. Its upper portion consists of a smooth, opaline white glass shade in an elongated oval form, held in place by a black metal ring with vertical wire supports, introducing a contrasting industrial accent. The beige power cord, fitted with a black inline switch and an original two-prong plug, remains fully functional. The lamp accommodates an E14 bulb. It is preserved in very good vintage condition, with no visible damage or significant wear; all elements are original to the period. This lamp carries the spirit of Polish modernism from the 1960s, a time marked by
