This Val St Lambert table lamp, produced in Belgium in the 1960s, is a distinguished example of mid-century modern design. The base, hand-formed from solid, colored glass, displays a vivid raspberry-pink gradient that softly transitions into clear glass at the bottom. The highly polished surface reveals both the depth and luminosity of the material, while the organic, sculptural lines emphasize the lamp’s flowing silhouette. A small chrome ring at the neck connects the glass base to the wide, conical lampshade crafted from matte white fabric. The proportions — a slender, tall base (38 cm) and a broad shade (25 cm diameter, 15 cm height) — create an architectural sense of balance. The lamp is fitted with an E27 socket and a discreet black power cord.
