This table lamp, designed by Apolinary Gałecki in Warsaw during the 1960s, stands as a vivid example of Polish Pop Art design. The construction features lacquered steel – a matte black base and arm contrasted with a conical shade in a warm, pale beige satin finish. The interior of the shade is painted white to optimize light diffusion, while three vertical brass leaf-shaped appliqués along the arm add a decorative mid-century accent. The lamp’s minimalist form is reinforced by exposed screws and a top metal ring that allows angle adjustment of the shade. A beige power cord subtly echoes the color of the shade.
