This table lamp, produced by Val St Lambert in Belgium during the 1960s, features a sculptural glass base crafted by hand from layered, deeply ruby-tinted glass with distinct translucency. Light plays through the body, revealing a nuanced spectrum of reflections and tones. The outer surface displays dynamic, irregular bands of crystal-clear glass, set in striking contrast to the dense red and imparting an added sense of depth. The base boasts a high-gloss polish, complemented by a classic conical lampshade in warm, off-white textile that is matte and subtly textured, emphasizing a vintage character.
