This table lamp, designed by Apolinary Gałecki and produced in Warsaw by Stołeczne Zakłady Metalowe Nr 2 in the 1960s, exemplifies Polish design inspired by the Pop Art movement. The structure is crafted from lacquered steel: a matte black base and arm contrast with a saturated, glossy red conical shade. Three oval cut-outs in the arm serve as both a design element and a functional channel for the white electrical cord. The geometric, flat base ensures stability, while the minimalist silhouette is accentuated by a classic, oval-shaped switch in black and white plastic. The angle of the lampshade can be adjusted, adding to the lamp’s functionality. Height is adjustable between 18 and 26 cm, with a width of 12 cm and a length of 23 cm.
