ROMB 48 is a table lamp designed by Broberg & Ridderstråle in 2021, merging contemporary sensibility with bold geometry. The construction consists of two vertically stacked rhomboidal volumes crafted from metal or aluminum. Each surface features pronounced vertical ribbing, enhancing the play of light and shadow across the form. The body is finished in a warm, matte brown tone. The lamp emits light upwards and downwards, creating decorative reflections along the grooved surfaces. Its proportions (width 20 cm, height 48 cm, depth 29.5 cm) make it a striking yet balanced accent for the living room. The design is visually unified, with no visible joints or fasteners, emphasizing precision and craftsmanship. ROMB 48 speaks the language of minimalist architecture—its sculptural form evokes an object where light and shadow interact like on the façade of a contemporary building.
