The 'Saturn' table lamp from the 1950s, produced in Kamienicky Senov near Prague, is a model where clear geometry and the nobility of materials meet in the spirit of modernism. Its spherical shade, crafted from soda-lime glass with a distinctive bubbled texture, is embraced by a wide, polished brass ring that serves both as a decorative and structural element. The brass stem and proportionally designed, round base complete the composition, drawing out the contrast between the transparency of glass and the warm gold of metal. The color palette is balanced: transparent glass in a subtle tint and lustrous brass form a harmonious whole, while visible construction details emphasize the quality of craftsmanship. The lamp is fitted with an E27 socket and a white cord with an inline switch. Condition: very good – original materials and finish, with only minimal patina on the metal, typical for the era.
