This vintage table lamp, attributed to Gaetano Missaglia and originating from Italy in the 1970s, exemplifies geometric design inspired by mid-century modern and space age aesthetics. The structure features two vertical columns of differing heights in highly polished chrome, each crowned with a thick, clear plexiglass diffuser. The chrome surface draws attention with its cool, reflective silver tone and horizontal gold-toned lines that enliven the minimalist silhouette. A solid, rectangular base houses a centrally placed round chrome dimmer, allowing for smooth adjustment of light intensity. Grooves in the base and colored reflectors—blue and yellow—subtly filter light through the plexi, producing a layered, atmospheric effect. Dimensions: height 37 cm, width 25 cm, depth 8 cm.
