This German bedside lamp from the 1970s stands as a representative example of mid-century modern design, marked by distinct Space Age influences. The construction features a cylindrical base made of chromed brass, its glossy, silver-toned surface showing natural patina and minute signs of time. The pressed glass lampshade, rendered in a rich olive-green tint, is spherical with a bold geometric relief pattern reminiscent of diamonds or honeycomb—a texture that amplifies light diffusion and lends a sculptural clarity. The lamp is fitted with a small, cylindrical on/off switch in aged ivory and a matching cream-colored cord. Fittings and connections between the metal and glass are expertly engineered and visible. The E14 light socket ensures ease of use, while the scale (width 13 cm, height 19 cm) provides compact versatility. Condition is very good vintage, exhibiting only minor patina on the metal, with no visible chips or cracks in the glass and all original elements intact.The
