This unique Space Age table lamp from 1960s Germany embodies the spirit of the era’s fascination with space exploration and modernist experimentation. The construction is based on two harmoniously connected, modular domes crafted from thick, high-quality plastic: both the base and the upper dome present a rich, glossy Prussian blue, while the central wide band in milky white diffuses light evenly to create a soft, ambient glow. The lamp’s surface offers a highly polished, almost mirror-like finish, emphasizing its geometric purity and the absence of visible joints or hardware—a hallmark of minimalist, futuristic aesthetics. The piece is fitted with a white cord and inline switch, and accommodates an E27 bulb. Condition is very good, with only minor surface scratches and gentle signs of use consistent with age.
