This Polish table lamp from the 1980s, produced by ZZM Domgos Zabrze, reflects the principles of space age design emerging from Eastern Europe at the turn of the late modernist period. Its construction is strictly geometric and functional: a perfectly spherical milk glass globe (22 cm diameter) sits atop a tapered, cylindrical neck and a round, flat metal base (18 cm diameter). The main color scheme is a neutral, softly warm white with a gently satin sheen; base and neck are finished in matte white paint. Marking the transition between the glass and metal is a discreet gold-toned accent ring—likely brass-plated—serving as a subtle retro detail. A white cord with a European plug ensures practicality, while the lamp is intended for an E27 bulb, supporting up to 60 W power. Typical for authentic vintage items, the lamp displays minor traces of use: small scratches, slight paint chipping, and gentle patina on metal connectors
