This hand-crafted stained glass table lamp from France, dating to the 1970s, embodies a striking modernist silhouette with pronounced Art Deco influences. The lamp features a cylindrical base and a wide, conical shade, creating a cohesive and balanced whole. Two dominant colors—deep cobalt blue and warm amber yellow—alternate in vertical stripes across both the base and the shade. The glass is colored throughout, not surface-painted, and displays subtle marbling and irregularities typical of artisanal production. Its glossy surface enhances the vibrancy of the colors and amplifies the play of light, while the visible, meticulously executed soldered joints emphasize the lamp's handcrafted nature. The shade rests securely on a specially shaped prism-like base, supported by a metal structure that houses a standard bulb socket, suitable for modern LED bulbs. The lamp's proportions are well-balanced: the shade measures 30 cm in diameter and the lamp stands 50 cm high. It is preserved in excellent vintage condition
