This Val St Lambert table lamp from the 1960s represents Belgian glassmaking craftsmanship in the mid-century modern tradition. The hand-blown glass base displays a pronounced ombré effect, transitioning from deep ruby red at the bottom to clear transparency at the top. Its sculptural silhouette, defined by organic, undulating lines and a star-shaped footprint, highlights the dynamic nature of the design, while the mirror-like polish of the glass enhances the depth and intensity of the color. The lamp is finished with a conical white fabric shade that softly diffuses the light, and a brass-colored cord that subtly nods to vintage style. Fitted with an E27 socket, the lamp is preserved in very good original condition—there are no signs of damage to the glass and all elements remain unrestored and authentic.The form of this lamp echoes the spirit of the 1960s, when designers boldly experimented with color and light.
