This table lamp from 1970s Germany exemplifies the bold clarity of Mid Century Modern design, blending a minimalist silhouette with geometric discipline. Its construction features a solid metal base in a deep, glossy black, accented by decorative concentric rings. The focal point is a large, dome-shaped lampshade crafted from high-quality white plastic, adorned with three subtle transparent stripes near the lower edge. The lamp's palette—crisp white and jet black—creates a striking contrast, while the light cream pull-cord switch is positioned on the slender metal stem. Proportions (overall height 62 cm, shade diameter 47.5 cm, base diameter 25 cm) give the lamp a strong presence, yet its form remains visually light. The lamp is designed for two E27 bulbs.
