This table lamp, produced in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s, exemplifies mid-century modern design with a clear nod to the aesthetics of the Space Age. Its body is formed by an elongated, ribbed lampshade made of frosted, milky-white glass, reminiscent of an aircraft fuselage—the satin-finished glass softly diffuses the light. The structural elements, including the base, wings, tail, and distinctive propeller, are crafted from highly polished chrome-plated metal. The metal surfaces are smooth and mirror-like, contrasting with the gentle texture of the glass. Every detail—from the wing attachments to the visible screws and bent tubular base—displays technical precision and contributes to the lamp’s industrial charm. The lamp uses an E14 bulb socket (bulb not included), and the electrical installation has been replaced. Dimensions: height 25 cm, length 31 cm, width 34 cm.
