This Drukov table lamp from the 1960s is a testament to Czechoslovak design, uniting refined artistry and practical function. Its shade, crafted from pressed opaline glass in a milk-white tone, boasts a softly polygonal form and a semi-matte, light-diffusing surface. Ornamental embossed reliefs and regularly spaced, hand-painted blue floral motifs highlight the craftsmanship of the era. The base and stem, made of white lacquered metal, are accented by two satin-brushed brass rings—one at the junction with the shade, the other just above the base—providing a harmonious contrast between cool simplicity and the warmth of metal. The rotary push-button switch sits on the sturdy, contoured base, preserving the lamp’s original vintage look.
