This table or wall lamp, designed by Apolinary Gałecki in Warsaw during the 1960s, exemplifies Polish industrial design influenced by mid-century modern with distinct Pop Art accents. The lamp features a matte brown lacquered steel body with a conical shape, complemented by a semi-circular perforated white steel shade. The regular pattern of small round holes lends the lamp a sense of lightness and creates a decorative, playful diffusion of light. It rests on two slender, black metal legs with a subtly textured surface, set at an angle to emphasize its geometric and dynamic silhouette.
