The TAFLA C Transitions Jade mirror by Zieta Studio is an irregular, polygonal object crafted from lacquered stainless steel. Utilising FiDU technology, thin metal sheets are freely deformed under pressure, resulting in a three-dimensional, fluid form with organic, unique distortions. The C6 model measures 55 × 50 × 6 cm and weighs 3 kg. Its high-gloss surface features a smooth transition: from luminous jade green at the centre to a deep, almost black-green at the softly inflated edges. The absence of visible joints or fittings enhances the monolithic, sculptural effect, while the mirror finish reflects light and surroundings, creating a striking focal point. TAFLA C evokes the image of a droplet caught in motion—dynamic yet composed. The irregular contours and gentle bulges allow light to glide across the surface, distorting reflections and producing a sense of depth. This mirror oscillates between functional object and art piece, inviting contemplation on transience and the mutable nature of space. TAFLA C Transitions Jade works well as a standalone centrepiece on a living room wall or in combination with other mirrors from the Zieta Studio collection.
