ABOUT PRODUCTID 6479
This Danish highboard from the 1960s, crafted by PMJ Viby J, encapsulates the essence of Scandinavian modernism. The body is clad in teak veneer, displaying a deep, warm brown with subtle reddish tones, while the slender, slightly splayed legs are made of solid wood. The minimalist design is accentuated by integrated wooden handles—vertical for the sliding doors and horizontal for the four spacious drawers. Inside, two height-adjustable shelves offer flexible storage, and a multifunctional bar compartment features a decorative mirror, two small drawers, and a fixed shelf. The surface has been refreshed; signs of use are limited to minor scratches and edge marks consistent with the piece’s vintage origin. Condition: excellent, with minor age-appropriate traces of use after recent restoration. This sideboard speaks with the measured voice of 1960s Danish design: simplicity here is not austerity, but an intentional elegance and attention to every detail. The teak veneer evokes the atmosphere of Scandinavian interiors, where daylight gently glides
