This repoussé teapot, attributed to WMF and crafted in Germany between 1910 and 1920, is made from brass with a silver-plated finish, giving the piece a cool, silvery hue and a highly polished, mirror-like surface. The body flares gently at the base and tapers subtly towards the top, adorned at the upper section with a decorative band of repeating, stylized scrollwork motifs characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement. The domed lid is topped with a spherical finial and attached with a sturdy hinge. The handle features a geometric, faceted design, while the spout is slender and elegantly curved. The construction demonstrates meticulous craftsmanship, with visible seams and precisely finished details. The surface is smooth and glossy, showing minor scratches and a light patina, but no significant damage. Condition: very good, with only subtle signs of use typical for pieces from the early 20th century.
