This antique teapot, crafted by the Hollstein manufactory in Eskilstuna, Sweden, dates to the 1890s and is a testament to the restrained, utilitarian design sensibility of Northern Europe in the nineteenth century. Entirely made of copper, the vessel displays a warm, reddish-gold tone with natural, mellow patina—its surface softly reflective with satin highlights, especially on the lid and spout where traces of use or hand polishing subtly catch the light. The body, subtly tapered towards the base, bears hand-forged, irregular hammer marks and superficial abrasions typical for late-nineteenth-century Scandinavian metalwork. Construction details, such as the dome-shaped lid topped with three interlocked rings, the short, sharply upturned spout
